Different Precast Concrete Production Line Processes

1. Hollow Core Slab Production Line

Key Steps:

Raw Material Preparation: Cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures are batched and mixed to a specific design.

Concrete Feeding: The wet concrete mix is fed into a long steel bed.

Extrusion / Slip Forming: Concrete is extruded continuously, forming hollow channels inside the slab by a hollow-core former.

Vibration & Compaction: External and internal vibrators compact the concrete to remove air voids.

Initial Curing: Slabs are left on the bed to gain initial strength; often steam curing is applied.

Cutting: The long slab is cut into required lengths using diamond wire saws.

Demolding & Stacking: Slabs are demolded or lifted off the bed and stacked for further curing.

Final Curing: Slabs cure fully in a controlled environment before delivery.

 

2. Concrete Block Production Line

Key Steps:

Mixing: Dry concrete mix with low water content is prepared.

Concrete Feeding: The mix is transported to the block machine hopper.

Molding & Vibration Pressing: The mix is placed into steel molds on pallets and compacted by high-frequency vibration and pressure.

Demolding: Blocks are ejected from molds onto curing pallets.

Curing: Blocks undergo steam or ambient curing for several hours to days.

Stacking & Packaging: Blocks are stacked and prepared for shipment.

 

3. Precast Wall Panel Production Line (Tilting Table)

Key Steps:

Mold Preparation: Large tilting tables with mold surfaces are cleaned and treated with release agents.

Concrete Pouring: Wet concrete mix is poured into the mold.

Vibration: Tables vibrate to compact the concrete.

Casting Inserts: Embedded items like rebar, conduits, or insulation are positioned.

Initial Curing: Panels remain on the table for initial set.

Tilting & Demolding: Table tilts hydraulically, and the panel is demolded.

Final Curing: Panels cure fully in storage racks.

Finishing: Surface treatments, coatings, or openings are prepared.

 

4. Concrete Pipe Production Line (RCC Pipe Machine)

Key Steps:

Mix Preparation: High-strength mix designed for pipe durability.

Mold Setup: Steel pipe molds are fixed vertically or horizontally.

Concrete Pouring: Concrete is fed into the mold.

Vibration / Centrifugal Casting: Mold vibrates or spins to consolidate concrete and achieve uniform density.

Initial Curing: Pipes remain in molds for initial set.

Demolding: Pipes are removed carefully to avoid damage.

Final Curing: Pipes cure fully on racks.

Quality Testing: Pipes undergo strength, dimension, and leak tests.

 

5. Prestressed Beam Production Line

Key Steps:

Prestressing Steel Installation: High-strength steel tendons or cables are tensioned on casting beds.

Formwork & Mold Setup: Molds are positioned on the bed with necessary supports.

Concrete Pouring: Concrete mix is poured into molds.

Vibration & Compaction: Concrete is vibrated for consolidation.

Curing: Accelerated curing methods (steam) help achieve early strength.

De-tensioning: Tendons are gradually released to impart compressive prestress to the beam.

Demolding & Storage: Beams are removed and stored for final curing.

Finishing & Quality Inspection: Beams are checked for strength and dimensional accuracy.

 

6. Manhole and Concrete Ring Production Line

Key Steps:

Mold Preparation: Vertical molds for rings and covers are cleaned and greased.

Concrete Feeding: Concrete mix is fed into the mold.

Vibration: Vertical core vibrators compact the concrete.

Initial Setting: Rings remain in molds until concrete sets sufficiently.

Demolding: Rings and covers are demolded.

Curing: Products cure in racks under ambient or controlled conditions.

Inspection: Dimensional checks and strength tests are performed.
